InFocus™ Integrated Design & Technology

Everything centers around SeboTek’s InFocus Integrated Design & Technology. Physically the PAC hearing instrument does not look like a traditional hearing aid. Its innovative, low-profile design makes it virtually invisible from any angle. Which, from a cosmetic perspective, is exactly the point, right?

InFocus also separates the digital sound processor from the speaker and properly positions the speaker inside the ear canal to create an exclusive coupler effect not available elsewhere. The sound processor is connected to the speaker using a translucent wire that runs through a micro-thin tube designed to follow the natural contours of your ear.

The speaker is held in position using an acoustically engineered Ultra Soft Tip, which gently seals the canal without the occlusion effect. This dynamic seal is designed to move with the ear canal while also eliminatingfeedback and other bothersome background noise. Combined with the powerand performance of the most advanced digital technology available, itis this unique coupler effect that ensures superior sound quality andspeech clarity.

Lastly, every SeboTek PAC is designed to use a #13 battery, which is easy to handle for those with dexterity issues, yet offers long battery life.

Superior Sound Quality

At the heart of every PAC hearing instrument is a state-of-the-art digital sound processor. In fact, the processor on SeboTek’s newest hearing instrument, the Voice-Q 721, delivers 42 million instructions/second (versus 3-4 million in most competing instruments). The result is cleaner, clearer sound; even better features, including IntelliSound™ 128 Channel Adaptive Noise Reduction and AFX™ Adaptive Feedback Cancellation.

Whether in conversation, enjoying music, or taking in the sounds of nature, no other device can match the quality and depth of sound of SeboTek. The design increases the sound transmission efficiency by reducing the volume required between the speaker and the tympanic membrane, more like normal ear canal and pinna resonance.

The PAC's proper positioning reproduces more realistic sound without distortion, reduced dynamic range or limited bandwidth. This positioning the speaker closer to the tympanic membrane also eliminates occlusion effect and naturally increases gain. Compared to other styles, only the PAC reproduces natural ear resonance. Peaks in the response curve can cause feedback and distortion.

The PAC also offers a frequency range from 100-14,000 Hz, more closely matching the range of natural hearing than any other device. The Ultra Soft Tip provides a dynamic seal that moves with the ear canal while eliminating feedback and background noise.
